Go Bamboo was inspired by the shocking reality of ocean plastic pollution, after learning about the North Pacific gyre - an enormous “sea of plastic.” The brand’s mission is to help people cut down on everyday plastic use by offering practical, affordable alternatives made from bamboo.

Go Bamboo uses Moso bamboo, a fast-growing, renewable material with strong environmental credentials. Bamboo absorbs more CO₂ and releases more oxygen than equivalent areas of trees, grows rapidly with high yield, and typically requires no pesticides, fertilisers, or heavy irrigation. It’s also naturally strong, biodegradable, and long-lasting, making it ideal for replacing disposable or short-life plastic items.
