Founder profile
Founder of Sassy Organics · Product curator · Author
Aida Rejzovic is the founder of Sassy Organics. Since launching the Melbourne-based store in 2016, she has spent a decade reviewing brands, comparing product information and labels, working with suppliers, curating the range and answering the questions customers ask before they buy.
Her guides turn that hands-on experience into clear, practical shopping advice across natural beauty, wellness and more conscious living—without presenting retail experience as clinical expertise.
The founder story
Aida's interest in organic and lower-tox living began in 2012, when her own health challenges prompted her to look more carefully at the products she used each day. As she compared ingredient lists and searched for alternatives, she saw how difficult it could be to find clear information and shop according to personal values.
She launched Sassy Organics four years later to make vegan, cruelty-free and more conscious shopping easier. What began as a personal change became an Australian store offering close to 3,000 carefully selected products across beauty, wellness, baby and home.
Editorial approach
Aida's writing is grounded in real retail and product-curation experience. Each guide is designed to help customers compare options, understand relevant product information and make a more confident decision.
Formulas, formats, certifications, intended uses and meaningful differences are explained in plain language.
Current labels, official product information and credible primary sources are checked instead of repeating unsupported marketing claims.
The questions Sassy Organics customers ask help shape what each guide explains and compares.
Personal experience is identified when relevant, and product research is not presented as medical or clinical advice.
How products are assessed
Recommendations focus on the information that can genuinely change a buying decision. Sassy Organics' full product-screening requirements are published separately in the Clean Standard.
