We are still open

Sassy Organics is still open and shipping orders as usual. We always maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and have increased the frequency of surface sanitising and hand washing. All orders will be shipped via Australia Post who have announced they will no longer require signature on delivery to help maintain social distancing. Placing orders online means you can still access all the essentials you need with the convenience of having them safely delivered on your doorstep without having to tackle the supermarket check-outs. And you'll be supporting the continued livelihoods of your local makers.

 

General Australia Post update

With many people moving to online shopping as they work from home, self isolate or sensibly avoid confined public spaces to protect themselves, Australia Post are seeing and uplift in parcels that is resulting in some delays in their network. The current reduction in domestic flights has seen delays begin to occur in domestic deliveries, particularly in the Express Post Network. Social distancing measures they are putting in place across their facilities also have an impact on the parcels and letters in their sortation systems, but the safety of their people is a priority for Australia Post.

 

Australia Post update 4 September 2020

As at 4 September 2020, Australia Post has made the following announcement in relation to domestic parcel delivery.

Australia Post continues to receive and deliver mail and parcels from international postal operators however there are delays from most destinations. Due to the current Stage 4 restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne, we're having to process and deliver from an alternate location for International parcels destined for Melbourne. Customers may notice when tracking their parcel, that it is coming from another State before it is delivered into Melbourne, which may result in additional delays.

Australia Post is temporarily suspending the Express Post guarantee of a refund and replacement envelope or satchel for articles that don’t meet the next business day delivery standardExpress Post is still available, but please note there are significant delays. Australia Post Express Post service will continue to be their fastest postal delivery option for customers – and they will continue to prioritise these deliveries. But please be aware that they are experiencing significant delays, and Express Post parcels could take five business days or more to be delivered. For latest Australia Post COVID-19 update click here

 

Shipping to New Zealand

Sassy Organics is now shipping to New Zealand, although you can expect some delays with receiving your orders.

As at 19 August 2020, Australia Post has made the following announcement in relation to New Zealand shipping:

Further delays are expected to New Zealand due to the impacts following the announcement of further restrictions by the New Zealand government for the Auckland region and the rest of New Zealand. Despite our best endeavours, it is likely that some items will take longer than the stated delivery times and we ask for your understanding. There are flight disruptions and cancellations impacting all inbound and outbound items to New Zealand. Express items will be given priority over Standard items during this time. 

According to current Australia Post guidelines, Express post parcels to New Zealand are expected to be delivered between 3-8 days. Standard post parcels are expected to be delivered between 6-12 days. For latest Australia Post COVID-19 update click here
